Mid-Michigan’s own jazz trumpeter, David McWilliams will debut original compositions from his new CD, “Nighthawks” just released! McWilliams will be joined by special guest Rodney Whitaker, Director of Jazz Studies at Michigan State University on bass, Ryan Ptasnik on drums, Jonathan Beshay on saxophone and Ryan Goh on piano.

Lynne Brown, Perspective2’s owner, describes this as the kick-off to a series of performances being planned for this venue featuring world-class jazz music and other arts and entertainment programs. The event is being co-produced with Candice Wilmore who also presents the Big Barn Jazz series in Okemos, MI.
